"Viewers can also relate to movable and pop-up books as toys whose primary purpose is to entertain children and adults, which were introduced in the 18th century." Wish I lived closer to see this fascinating exhibit. I used pop-up books when reading to our sons when thay were little, and they truly enjoyed the books.
