Where is everybody*?

For those of you who don't make it to NHB very often, the next time you come to visit someone on the Mezzanine you may notice....they aren't where they used to be!
Musical chairs on the mez is done (for now) and here is more or less where everyone is:

Development and Events, aka, Rachelle and Liz - now in ASO 26mz
ASO/Ninette - now in Kathy's old cube
ASO/Sharon - new and improved cube in the same ol' spot
ASO/Claudia - same spot
ASO/Kathy - in Laudine's old office

-->Most importantly, Dave B. is now down in Acquisitions, in the office closest to Shipping and Receivng.

DSD (formerly ISD) - in NHB 24mz
Alvin - first office on the left
Conrad - first cube on the left, Keri's old cube
Keri - first office on the right, Bess' old office*
TSA/Vicki - second office, Marcia's old office
Martin - same spot
Richard N. - second cube on the left, Erin's old cube
BHL/Bianca - last cube, Rachelle's old cube
Erin - last office on the right

*Bess sits in Original Cataloging, and is part of Tech Services Division

NMAH Reopening Pix

After 2.3 years being closed to the public, the NMAH museum will reopen Nov. 21.  Here are a few pictures of the Constitution Entrance of the newly renovated center core of the museum and the "skylight."  It's a dramatic difference from the previous space.

Pennsy is Almost Open

The move from North Capitol St. to Pennsy Dr. is over, and the departments that have moved are almost ready to open!   The Preservation Services Department, SILRA, and the Imaging Center are preparing final details for the opening of SISC at Pennsy October 1, 2008.
